Jumpstart was formed about 15 years ago by Bobby Metcalf. Although the band has seen some rough times and rough musicians they have finally come up out of the shadows with some of the best musicians music has to offer. Jumpstart has completed the work on their new CD titled Skippin Stones.
Jumpstart is a variety band that plays just about anything you can think of...in addition to the huge amount of originals we play music ranging from The Presidents of the United States to Buddy Holly from Led Zepplin to Tracy Chapman from Sister Hazel to James Taylor and from The Doors to Matchbox 20. Jumpstart has most recently opened up for Chris Duarte at Cain's Ballroom, and also played benefits such as, the Peebly Road Hippie Fest, a benifit for MS, and has been showcased at Big Splash family water park in Tulsa. Jumpstart plays many local clubs including, The Elephant Run, Black Jacks, The Break and The Varsity. We also play all over Oklahoma, in towns like OKC, Perry, Drumright, Cushing and Sapulpa, we also go as far as Colorado and S. Dakota. Keep the name of this band and the members in mind because this is the year we make our mark!!!!!
